- 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Serum . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling
- Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
- Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
- If acute and convalescent samples being collected, label as such. Convalescent sample must be received in lab within 30 days.

- Bacterially Contaminated Samples
- Grossly Lipemic Samples
- Heat inactivated
- Hemolyzed specimens
- Icteric specimen
